Emotional Abuse Inventory

Emotional abuse, over time, causes us to behave in ways that are detrimental to ourselves and those around us.  For the victim of emotional abuse, it is often difficult to understand why she makes the choices she does or even what choices might be healthier.

SaraKay Smullens has developed an Emotional Abuse Inventory --  a thirty question assessment tool for determining what behaviors may have resulted from emotional abuse.

You can access the Inventory here.  Print it, then take some quiet time to honestly answer the questions.

The answers may be quite revealing.  To learn more about the next steps, you'll want to check back on this website frequently.  You may want to purchase SaraKay's book, Setting YourSelf Free.

For more empowerment information, find SaraKay's blogs and peer reviewed papers.  They provide direction about and a philosophy of life and caring that empower fulfillment.

* The Inventory is available as an Adobe Acrobat file.  If you have trouble opening this file, please link here for the free download.  It takes only a few minutes.
